Yogurt Pie

1 sm. carton cool whip
2 cartons fruit yogurt

Mix together and pour into graham cracker crust.  Chill until set.

Simplest dessert in the whole world.  Darn tasty too.

Creole Pork Chops

1 c. sliced onions
garlic to taste
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. sliced green peppers
pork chops
tomato sauce

Saute green pepper, onions, and garlic until wilted.  Push to side and brown pork chops on both sides.  Add stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce, cover and simmer until sauce has thickened and chops are tender.  Serve over rice.

Beef Stir Fry

From a can of Cambell’s soup

1 lb boneless beef sirloin or top round steak, 3/4″ thick
2 T. cornstarch
1 can Cambell’s Condensed beef broth
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. vegetable oil
3 c. cut-up vegetables
4 c. hot cooked rice

Slice beef into very thin strips.  Mix cornstarch, broth and soy until smooth.  Set aside.

3 cups grated potatoes
3 T. oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix and line 10″ pie plate and bake at 425 for ten minutes

Cherry Cheese Stollen

Mix:

1  8 oz. block softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. flour

Separate one package crescent rolls and press short sides together in bottom of pan.  Spread filling in middle and put a few cherries on top.  Fold ends over to seal.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Kix Wraparound Snacks

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. Kix cereal
about 20 miniature chocolate kisses, chocolate-or yogurt-covered raisins, gumdrops, or miniature marshmallows

Soy Curry Chicken

Sounds odd, but it is actually really tasty.

1/2 c. + 2 T. water
3 T. lime juice
2 tsp. sherry
2 minced garlic cloves
