Sorry for the lack of good directions. I have only ever made rice pudding on the stove, so I don’t know if you cook this on the stove and then bake it or just bake it. If anyone knows please let me know. I heart rice pudding.

From Darlene Boll

–

This reads like an Edna recipe, but it came out of the teapot recipe box. Perhaps I misfiled. I have no idea what the half Pillsbury add a cup part means. Perhaps if anyone can decode it they can leave a comment. Thanks!

1 1/2 scoop flour (scoop holds 1/4 cup)

water to make thick gravy

2 T. chili powder

1 large can tomato sauce

1 can taco sauce if desired.

Layer with corn chips, browned hamburger, chopped onions, grated cheese.

–

This recipe confuses me. I have made enchilada sauce many times in my life and never has it involved flour and butter. My enchiladas have never included “corn chips”. Which leads me to the conclusion that I have no idea what this recipe is all about, and I think i will have to make it just to see what it tastes like. It sounds very boring and bland and midwestern….and a little greasy.
