1 9″ crust
3 c. chopped apples
3/4 c. sugar
3 T. flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 T. sugar plus 1 tsp cinnamon

Mix together thoroughly:
1 c. soft margarine
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Stir in:
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
Chill dough overnight. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts, roll in mixture of 2 T. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake at 400 for 8-10 mins.

Mix together and pour on top of 1 quart hot fruit. Bake at 350 until done. Makes thin crust.

Cream together:
1/2 c. margarine/butter
2/3 c. sugar
Add and beat well:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine separately:
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Add dry ingredients alternating with 1/3 c. orange juice
Fold in
1 c. chopped apples
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Bake in greased 9 x 5″ pan at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 T. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cut up dates
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts
Mix boiling water and dates. Cool stir into batter.
9″ loaves 55-65 minutes
8″ loaves 55-60 minutes
Cool slightly and remove from pan.
Grease bottom of pan only. Bake at 350.
