1 angel food cake broken into bits in baking pan.
Mix 1 48 oz can apricot nectar with 1 cup sugar and 7 T. cornstarch. Cook until thick. Pour over cake, serve with Cool Whip

I cannot even imagine where you would find apricot nectar in rural Illinois. This recipe must have been oh so exotic to my Grandmother.
