Chicken n’ Chilies Casserole

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 ca-4 oz-green chiles chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 2lb pkg. frozen loose pack hash browns
  • 2 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese-divided

In large bowl combine sour cream, light cream, onion, chiles, salt and pepper if desired.  Stir in potatoes, chicken and 2 cups cheese.

Pour into greased 9x13x2 baking dish.  Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown.  Sprinkle with remaining cheese before serving.

Cooked turkey or ham can be substituted, can be made ahead.
