Swedish Meat Balls

- 1 1/2 lb. hamburg
- 2 slices bread
- 3/4 c. milk
soak bread in milk one hour. Add to hamburg. 1 egg and salt and pepper.
Form in round balls. Roll in flour brown in cooking fats. Add one can tomatoes (large). Slice one onion and add enough water to cover. Simmer for 2 hours or longer.

Don’t swedish meatballs usually involve some sort of heart clogging gravy? Why brown the meat if you are just going to boil it in water? These are questions that must be answered!
