2 tsp salt
1/4 c. shortening
2 T. cornmeal
1 c. warm water 105-115 degrees
1 tsp sugar

Mix together-
1 cup cornmeal
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 can cream style corn
1/2 tsp soda
1/3 c. shortening (melted)
mix all above together
1 sm can green chili
1 cup shredded cheese
Pour half of batter into baking dish-spread can of chili and cup of cheese over batter. Spread remaining batter on top.
